NEW YEAR, OLD ME (special birthday shout out to my fellow capricorns!)

That’s right. The Gregorian calendar was created by men to disrupt the natural order of Mother Earth herself. They literally sat around and said, “Let’s start the year in the DEAD of winter — when everything else on the planet is hibernating.”
Capricorn season is not a time to reinvent yourself in loud, actionable ways. As a cardinal sign, the Sea Goat is an initiator — pragmatic, strategic, and always thinking long-term. This is a season of refinement, clarity and quiet ambition through rest, introspection and intentional legacy-building.
Ask yourself: What kind of life do I actually want to live?
And just as importantly: What practical steps will make that life possible?
Now is the time to plan so when spring arrives, you’re ready to act.
The true New Year begins at the Spring Equinox — Ostara. Animals emerge from slumber. Flowers bloom. Birds return to song. The world hums back to life. This is the natural order.
Until then, get as cozy as possible.
Live by candlelight.
Move a little slower.
Sip something warm while you daydream.
This is not the beginning — it’s the becoming.
